Please join Klamath Trails Alliance (race host) on June 8, 2024 at Spence Mountain for our first XC MTB Bike race. The race is sanctioned by OBRA and will require an OBRA License and an OBRA waiver. KTA would like to encourage youth participation. For 2024 youths 18 and under can race free. All riders will still need a $5 OBRA license for insurance purposes. It is an add on or bring $5 cash to the event. Youths racing for free will also need to bring a lunch or purchase one for $10 (add on at checkout of registration or bring cash on race day).Mosquitoes are out so bring a light weight long sleeve or bug spray. If you do not have a license, you can purchase a one-day license as an add on through ultrasignup.com or on race day with $5 cash. Please sign up early so we can get an accurate count for prizes and meals. Courses include a 25 mile "long route" for advanced riders (Cat 1); 16 mile "medium route" for intermediates (Cat 2); and 9 mile "short route" for beginners (Cat 3). Advanced race starts at 9am; Intermediate race starts at 9:30am; Short route starts at 10am.Local food truck (Heavenly Thai including vegetarian/vegan options) and local beer (Common Block Brewing) at the finish line. A custom pint glass for the first 80 finishers. Race day signups are allowed, show up a minimum of 30 minutes before your event to pickup your bib and grab a one day OBRA license (please bring cash for race day registration since cellular service is limited at the trailhead). If you register on race day you may not get a meal, the food truck has limited supply of ingredients.
