Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

Klamath County is wide open for winter! Two kinds of weather reign supreme here in winter: snow and crisp cool sunshine. Simple pleasures include sledding and the inevitable snowball fight. For the snow enthusiasts there are numerous snowmobiling and cross country ski trails as well as Willamette Ski Pass, located in northern Klamath County for all who enjoy downhill skiing. For equipment needs as well as guided trips, contact The Ledge, 541.882.5586.

If you're looking for a great family activity, think about the Bill Collier Community Ice Arena. The 200'X85' sparkling outdoor sheet of ice is covered by a beautiful tensile fabric roof and is open late October or early November through the end of March. School field trips, figure skating lessons, recreational hockey leagues for ages five through adult, and a multitude of other skating sessions are offered. For more information call 541.850.5758.
