Cross Country Skiing:
While any place covered with snow becomes fair game for cross-country skiers, the legendary choice is Crater Lake National Park, which receives an average of nearly 530 inches in an average winter. The Lake of the Woods offers a network of signed trails. In northern Klamath County, choices include marked routes near Chemult beginning at the Walt Haring Sno Park and at Odell Lake.
Downhill Skiing:
Williamette Pass Ski Resort offers skiers and snowboarders a variety of runs from mid-November through March. Seven lifts including the states only high-speed ski passenger lift will take you to 360 degrees of alpine adventure. Ski and board to your heart's content with Twilight and Night Skiing available.
