Upper Klamath Lake
As one of Oregon's largest natural lakes, covering 141 sq. miles, Sailing Magazine listed Klamath Lake as one of the 10 best sailing lakes in North America. Gentle breezes during the day and stronger winds in the evening provide for enjoyment by any skill level. Klamath Lake is situated in the heart of the Pacific Flyway, so as an added bonus to great sailing you can also enjoy over 350 species of birds including sandhill cranes, American White Pelicans, Bald Eagles, and Western and Clark Grebes.
