Upper Klamath Lake
Imagine the thrill of hooking a 26 lb. whopper of a trout! While this record may be hard to beat, it is not unusual to hook a 10, 12, or even 20 lb. trout. Upper Klamath Lake produces a sturdy, natural fish population due to the temperature swings from summer to harsh winters, high alkalinity, and huge algae blooms. The lake is full of nutrients, blue-green algae, and can produce trout 20 inches long in approximately four years. In addition to the more common rainbow trout, there have been German Brown's and sturgeon reported.

Lake of the Woods
Excellent fishing, scenery, and recreation! Lake of the Woods is located 34 miles west of Klamath Falls via Hwy 140. The lake is well known for its bounty of fish. Rainbow, Brown and Eastern Brook Trout, Yellow Perch, Kokanee (Salmon). Large mouth Bass, Catfish and Crawdads thrive in this prolific lake. Trolling is a favorite form of angling but fly- fishing also gets results. Ice fishing in the winter is also available.

Odell Lake

Crescent Lake
Crescent Lake is just over 4,450 acres and up to 265 feet deep. Crescent Lake is located within the Crescent Ranger District, as well as the Dechutes National Forest. The area has many trails for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and areas for off-road vehibles. Fish species found in the lake include kokanee salmon, lake trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, and mountain whitefish.
Miller Lake
Miller Lake is located just 12 miles west of U.S. Highway 97 and Chemult, Oregon on Miller Lake Road (9772). The lake is stocked periodically with brown, brook, and rainbow trout and Kokanee Salmon, making it a favorite fishing spot in Klamath County. Miller Lake is special, in that one can fish 24 hours a day here.
Camping is available at Digit Point Campground. The campground offers a full array of activities including camping, boating, swimming, fishing, and hiking. It's a great access point to the Mt. Thielsen Wilderness Area for hikers as well.
