Collier Park Memorial Park and Logging Museum
The outdoor Collier Memorial State Park Logging Museum is part of the larger park, which includes a campground, picnic area, trails and day-use facilities. Located 30 miles north of Klamath Falls, the park and outdoor museum are located near where Spring Creek flows into the Williamson River.
Fort Klamath Museum and Park
Remnants of early Klamath Basin settlement times are offered at the Fort Klamath Museum and Park about 30 miles northwest of Klamath Falls. The fort was established in 1863 to provide protection for pioneer settlers. It became famous after the Modoc Indian War when Captain Jack and three other Modoc leaders were held, tried, hanged and buried at the post. The museum and park are open in the summer only with periodic reenactments offered.
